地球温暖化太陽主因説論者の日和見

地球温暖化太陽主因説を主張していた米陸軍の主任科学者が日和見したようだ。Army: Sun, Not Man, Is Causing Climate Change (Updated) [UPDATE: West himself said during a Thursday conference call that global warming is at least partially man-made -- and maybe as much as "70 percent" due to human intervention.] 改訂:ウェスト自身、木曜の電話会議で「地球温暖化は少なくとも、部分的には人為的に起きている。70%ぐらい人為的かもしれない」と述べた。
タイトル:地球温暖化の原因は「太陽」(日本語版)と完全に矛盾する改訂だが、一体何が起きたのか?
確かに米陸軍の主任科学者Bruce West博士は、「太陽は、地球の平均気温上昇の原因の実に69％を占めている可能性がある」とPhysics Todayで真逆のことを主張している。

けれど、ちゃんと逃げ道を作っていてdepending on the TSI reconstruction used.とTSI(全太陽放射)のモデル構成の使い方次第だが、とコソーリ前もって言い訳していたのだ。
だけど、真に受けられて想定外の騒動になったためか、大慌てで、注釈をした結果が、

Average temperatures have climbed by ".8 degrees Centigrade over the last century, coincident with the growth of industry." 温室効果ガスが占める原因の割合はどちらのモデルを使うかで31%か70%。二つの候補が両立している。
って、二大政党制じゃないんだから、どちらか好きな方選んでよって言われても。要するに使ったモデルがいい加減でどうにでもなりますと自白したようなものだ。これが本当の日和見だろう。もう笑うしかない。
池田信夫氏も「エコロジーという宗教」で余計な追記：「温暖化の原因は太陽活動だ」という論文をPhysics Todayに発表した米陸軍の専門家が上院の公聴会で証言し、きのう排出権取引法案は廃案となった。サミットではアメリカががんばって、理性的な議論が行なわれることを期待したい。なんて書かなければよかったのに。およそ理性とはかけはなれた空騒ぎなのだから。
